I am like you. Searching for happiness. Looking for somewhere to utilize my talents to the fullest and have fun while doing it. Then trauma struck. Losing both my parents, my job, and a place to live. They say if these three things happen at the same time, you may not recover to live life again.
Then I was introduced to a wonderfully cheerful woman after I moved to Colorado then to Pennsylvania. This person and I would talk on the phone at least once a week. She wanted to know how I was handling all the changes in my life. A new job, a new residence, and the loss of being with my Midwest friends.
I lived in the Midwest all my life; it was home. Not here. When I got down, she told me I could call anytime, which I did. We became good friends, and then I moved back to the Midwest. We lost touch and then discovered each other again.
I would not have made it through that time in my life without her steady hand. I discovered later she was a Christian life coach. That’s why I am here writing today about faith, God, and Jesus. They gave me a new life with her help.
My friend (Lee) passed away recently. Without what she taught me, I would have been lost again. But now I lean on my belief and faith in God.
